Whilst it’s tempting to chase the unusual, and coffee can be wonderfully complex and full of surprises, it’s just as important to celebrate coffees that lean into what they are, and execute it with pride - the kind of coffees you taste and instantly recognise, because they speak so clearly of where they’re from. This lot from the Chelchele washing station is exactly what you want a washed Ethiopian coffee to be - bright, floral and laced with citrus and stone-fruit. It reminds us of lemon meringue and peach tea, with a honeyed sweetness, silky mouthfeel, and a clean, elegant finish.. Flavor profile: Citrus Fruit, Stone Fruit, Floral, Honey.
