Located high in the Andes mountains, Huila’s ideal climate and rich soil make it perfect for growing top-quality Arabica beans, producing the popular Excelso Coffee. Farmers in Huila grow their Colombian coffee at elevations of around 1,200 metres, where the cooler temperatures help the beans mature slowly, developing a richer flavour.
