Country: Colombia Region: Gigante, Huila Process: Washed Elevation: 1350-1850m Varietal: Caturra, Castillo, Colombia This every day drinker is the dictionary definition of 'chuggable'. Produced by small scale producers on the slopes of the Eastern Cordillera in Gigante, Huila. The steep terrain, high altitudes, rainfall and mountain winds provide the perfect conditions for producing sweet, flavourful coffees exactly like this washed lot. Super sweet and creamy, Matambo reminds us of a certain chocolate bar that may or may not sound like Karamak, stone fruit and bitter-sweet grapefruit.. Flavor profile: Citrus Fruit, Stone Fruit, Chocolate, Caramel.
