Description
Ethiopia Yirgachefe G1 Chelelektu. Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe district is one of the most celebrated coffee origins in the world. This Grade 1 lot, grown at 1,800 metres in Chelelektu, scored 88 on cupping. The highest grade available. Heirloom varieties grown at this altitude produce a cup with uncommon complexity. Floral and tropical, with mango and passionfruit running through a rich, heavy body. It is a phenomenal filter coffee. Juicy, layered, and entirely unlike anything else in the range. Artwork: "The Kiss" — Gustav Klimt, 1907. Flavor profile: Tropical Fruit, Floral.
