Ethiopia Sidama - Medium Roast. Ethiopia Sidama Gr. 2 coffee comes from the Sidama region, located south of Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa. This region is renowned for its ideal coffee-growing conditions, with altitudes ranging from 1,600 to 1,900 meters above sea level, rich volcanic soil, ample rainfall, and optimal temperatures. These conditions make Sidama one of Ethiopia's most productive and sought-after coffee regions, known for producing high-quality beans with distinct flavours and a unique character. The Sidama beans are of the Typica variety and are fully washed to ensure clarity and consistency in the cup.
