Description

Indonesia - Nola Wonga. pomelo, and a sweet agave-syrupy body. Location: Wolowio village, Bajawa, Ngada Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Varietal: S795 Altitude: 1,300-1,600 masl Process: Washed Context The Nola Wonga farmers group was created in 2014 by Felix Soba to preserve the cultivation of its renowned organic Arabica coffee from Bajawa, on the island of Flores in East Nusa Tenggaru. Some farmers had converted their plants to short term vegetable crops, which were seen as more profitable, leading to a shrinking of the coffee plantation area.
