Description

Islay — Whisky Barrel Coffee | Laphroaig. rich smoke, deep peat arrive first, followed by layers of vanilla, dried fruit, cocoa. A Brazil Santos Yellow Bourbon matured in rare European oak casks that once held Oloroso sherry and the legendary Laphroaig 25 Year (2008 vintage). Nothing artificial is added. The cask does the work; lending the signature character of Islay peat smoke and seasoned oak. In the cup, rich smoke and deep peat arrive first, followed by layers of vanilla, dried fruit, and sherry sweetness. Beneath it all, the natural Brazil base provides structure with notes of toasted hazelnut, cocoa, and dark chocolate. Lighter extractions bring more nut sweetness..
