Information Region: Murang'a District, Central Province Process: Washed and fermented in river water, sun-dried on raised beds Altitude: 1,500–1,700 masl Variety: SL 28, Ruiru 11 Blackberry, Peach Iced Tea, Soft Chocolate, Lemon Background The Iyego Farmers Cooperative Society was established and registered in May 1959 with 600 members. It later renamed itself the Iyego Coffee Growers Cooperative Society to better represent its members’ mandate.
