Description
KENYA, Ruchu Farmers Cooperative Society. a clean, black tea notes, a balanced acidity. Our Ruchu coffee comes from Kandara in Muranga County. Situated at 1,700 meters above sea level, allows for favourable, slow growth. The coffee also benefits from the distinct red, nutrient rich volcanic soil present in these parts of Kenya. The coffee is processed at the Ruchu Factory, which has approximately 700 active members delivering to it from a total coffee growing area of 350 hectares. Together, they produce roughly 335 tons of cherries annually. The factory has a substantial history that reaches back to the independence period in 1961.
