Description

Jose Maximo, a third-generation farmer from "Los Pajuiles" in Cofradia, Honduras, grew up working on farms after leaving school at second grade. After completing military service, he returned home, married Guillermina, and had six children. When his grandfather passed, Jose was left without land, so he used his savings and sold livestock to purchase new land and machinery. He chose to grow Microlot Specialty coffee on fertile land, which produces a unique flavor profile influenced by the diverse flora and fauna on his farm.
