Description

Nicaragua Geisha Coffee. Nicaragua Geisha (aka Gesha coffee) distinguishes itself as one of the world's most exceptional coffees. This specialty coffee is grown at a relatively high altitude in Nicaragua's north-central department of Jinotega, close to the border with Honduras, and is certified by the Rainforest Alliance. The Geisha coffee varietal was first discovered in Ethiopia in the 1930s and it reached speciality coffee stardom in 2004, when it won an important competition in nearby Panama and caught the attention of international experts.
