Description
Renowned for their high quality and backed by generations of agronomic expertise, Tanzania - Burka Estate coffee is a well balanced with flavour notes of malic fruit like green apples, and the syrupy sweetness of maple syrup and golden raisins. Burka Estate, founded in 1899 near Arusha, Tanzania, was joined by the neighbouring Selian Estate in 1991. Coffee planting began in 1918, and the estates now host around 1.3 million shade-grown coffee trees. The farms are also home to 314 acres of forest and 250 acres of grassland.
