Description
El Pital - Colombia. This lot was grown on Aleja and Fernando Garcia’s farm in El Pital, Colombia. Fernando moved from the department of Caquetá to Huila in 2004, fleeing the armed conflict in his home region. He resettled in El Pital, Huila, where he began farming and rediscovered his passion for coffee. In recent years, Fernando transitioned his farm to specialty coffee, cultivating rare varieties while while taking part in social activism to protect the local environment and community.
