Description
Guatemala Pena Roja Medium Roast. This Guatemala Peña Roja coffee originates from the Chaloum region in Huehuetenango, located in the western highlands of Guatemala near the Mexican border. This area is known for its varied microclimates due to its mountainous terrain. Peña Roja, meaning "red rock," is situated in the foothills of Peña Blanca, which reaches an altitude of 3,520 masl. The beans are produced by the Cooperativa Agricola Integral Peña Roja, a small cooperative comprising 81 producers - 67 men and 14 women.
