Description

India Ratnagiri Estate Cauvery Honey. The Hindi word 'Ratnagiri' translates to 'Pearl Mountain,' aptly named for the dense silver oak canopy that crowns this farm. Established in 1920, Ratnagiri is owned and operated by Ashok Patre, having been passed down through generations from grandfather to father to son. This honey-processed, single-variety (Selection 9) microlot is dried on raised beds for 16 to 20 days. The Producer Ashok Patre is a progressive, well-traveled, and innovative individual. Drawing inspiration from his experiences, he has transcended traditional Indian coffee cultivation and processing.. Flavor profile: Honey.
