Description
This lot is the result of an collaboration between 5 producers from Jinotega, Nueva Segovia. Grown at elevations between 1,100 and 1,5000 masl. These farmers introduced the Java variety across farms ranging from 10 to 25 hectares. This variety is favoured for its exceptional cup quality, natural resistance to coffee leaf rust, and low fertilizer requirements. However, these advantages come with a trade-off, as Java typically produces lower yields compared to other varieties.
